年卅晚的非團年飯

年廿八年廿九兩晚都是團年飯,到了年卅晚,也得吃飯的,到了佐敦這家吃「摩登齋」的禾之家素食。R 一家都非常喜歡這兒的食品,已是第二次光顧了。


咖喱羊腩煲:咖哩汁像葡汁,不辣,最美味的是薯仔。


南乳炸雞片:不太像雞,南乳汁最惹味。


印尼炒烏冬:整晚我最欣賞的食品。


漁香茄子煲:茄子美味但略油膩,還有一個鮮竹豆腐煲,賣相近似。


炸大腸:R 點的小吃,沒真實的肥美。

這店子的風評也不錯,食品也很精緻味美,只是我不太愛那些素肉,初啖時會有點驚喜,可以嘗到我不吃 (或非常非常少吃) 的雞及牛,一慰口舌之慾,但兩三啖過後只覺自己在吃「膺品」,不知那些素肉的成份是什麼,有點倒胃。讓我選,我寧願吃真真實實的食材,或是傳統的全是腐竹製品也沒問題。

Wow, the "chai choi" looks delicious. Hope I can visit this place the next time I'm in HK. FYI, "chai" meat is made of textured soy protein. It's natural taste is neutral and like soybean. Lots of Taiwanese style "chai choi" in L.A. use this. I'm not a great fan of it either, but do eat it once in a while.

Those "chai" meat taste strange to me, can't eat a lot.
Take u here when ur in HK lar ... hehe ... I have a 10% discount card of this place ne~
